One of the greatest threats to families today is identity theft. The chances of one or more members of a family becoming an identity theft victim is higher than becoming a victim of nearly any other crime. Locking your doors at night will not keep cyber thieves out.
No one is exempt from being a possible identity theft victim. In fact, years often go by before it’s discovered that a child has had their identity stolen. And, around $40 Billion annually is stolen from seniors from an identity crime known as Elder Financial Abuse.
On April 1, National Police Credit Union will be launching an Identity Theft Protection Program that will shield and protect your entire family from the disasters of a stolen identity.
